Fried Prawn Wanton @ Hup Huat Restaurant (合发小食馆)

Besides assam laksa, this is one of my favorite food at Melaka - Fried Prawn Wanton at Hup Huat Restaurant (合发小食馆).
It famous with its century egg porridge, but I love its fried prawn wanton so much, which I can't find anywhere in KL.
Last time it used to be located at road side, but recently moved to a proper shop lot with air-con.
Love prawn wanton as me? Don't miss to try this out.

Business Hours: 9am - 5:30pm
Location: 101, Jalan SP 1, Taman Semabok Perdana, 75050 Melaka.

Curry Fish Ball (麻辣鱼蛋) @ Low Yat Plaza

Me & my darling love to fish ball very much.
Every time we go down Sungai Wang area, will try to stop by at Low Yat Plaza for the curry fish ball.
It is a snack stall located just outside the Hong Kong's Food Culture, Grd Flr.
RM5 for 9pcs, and we always make it at RM10, if not we'll fight for the balls, hehe...
They are using Mushroom brand fish ball, which I also can get it from wet market.
But it is the curry gravy that we like...hot & spicy....

O.U.G. Fatty Frog Porridge - 肥佬田鸡粥

I really love to eat frog porridge, but only the good one, hehe...
Last time there was a frog porridge stall at Sri Petaling, but suddenly closed stall for a long time. Then at a coincidence, I found another good place for the frog porridge -

Fatty Frog Porridge 肥佬田鸡粥
Address: Jalan Hujan Rahmat Dua, OUG, Jalan Klang Lama, 58200 KL.
(same row, but the other end corner of "Steven Corner")
Business Hours: Night time. Not aware which day they closed.

I always order the 2 dishes: Frog Porridge (田鸡粥) and "Kong Po" Frog (公保田鸡).
Price not cheap, but super delicious. Mostly is because their frog very fresh, the meat very tasty, may be got enough exercise, hehe...

I heard that their Ginger & Onion Fish (姜葱鱼片) also very nice, but I never try before, cause love the frog so much, no quota to ask more dish already.

House in Progress

These 2 months every weekend also have to dealing in new house matters, i.e. sourcing quotation, follow up renovation, buy furniture, etc... All these really take time and energy....
Sometime we even run shops for weeks just to buy a sofa or dinning table that we like....and affordable.
Not everything running as expected, especially the renovation works, some quality of works are not really up to our expectation. But the progress indeed meaningful.....
Before painting & gate
Relocation of water meter
Building new wall at back
Installing auto-gate
Moving built-in wardrobe to my room. Heavy~~
Thanks for the hard work!!
Pull Pull !!
My lovely house
Everything in the house are chosen by us...really made a lot of decision making....haha.....
This may not be the perfect house, but it will be our lovely sweet home....
Coming weekend have to go choose the lights, fans, 2 rooms' wardrobe, and some side tables.
Phew~~ another headache weekend.

Hing Loong Taiwanese Noodle

30 years old Hing Loong (兴隆) got the best Taiwanese beef noodle I have in Malaysia!!
My darling's uncle is the main chef in Hing Loong located at Jalan Bacang, Melaka. The Taiwanese lady boss is his uncle's god-mother.
I love the most is their "Spicy soup stewed beef noodle", very strong taste (重口味).
Every time I come to Melaka also try to have a bowl there. Even my darling always tease me this is the only purpose I go Melaka, haha....
Spicy Stewed Beef Noodle   RM4.20
My darling likes their "Fried Pork Rib Noodle", another "Must Order" item.

I heard that previously they also has branch in KL, run by her son. But recently they already moved back to Melaka, and having a new shop at Malim Jaya. I never try in any other branch before, don't know is it as delicious as this main shop or not.

Restoran Sin Yit Sing (新日昇餐馆) - Marmite Crab

On the journey back from Singapore on last Sunday, we dropped by Seremban to have dinner at a restaurant that I long time didn't visit -- Restoran Sin Yit Sing (新日昇餐馆). No. 103, Taman A.S.T., Jalan Labu Lama, 70000 Seremban. 5pm-12am, Tel: 016-3619595.
Featured in 阿贤人情味 before
My first visit to this shop should be 3 years back. This time come back reminded me how delicious is their "Marmite Crab", so fresh.
Yummy, yummy! RM50++

So "kilat" leh.
Instead of rice, we ordered "Fish head noodles". The soup very sweet (清甜), but I remember last time taste more pepper, which I like it.
Only remember to take photo when my soup was finished. RM15.
Talking about vege, we ordered "Belacan paku-pakis", which seldom can eat in west Malaysia. Nicer to eat than "kangkung". I called it "curly vege", hehe...
RM10
Next time have to try the BBQ crab at another restaurant at Seremban.
